This website has been developed to help local suppliers to benefit from the development of the Rampion Wind Farm which will be situated off the Sussex Coast between East Worthing and Brighton.

The construction of an offshore wind farm involves the supply of numerous items and services such as security, accommodation, legal, communications, vessels and crews. Engineering and electrical products including foundations, towers, cabling, cable trays, substations and numerous other components. In fact we have identified more than 750 individual products and services that are needed by developers and sub-contractors, many of which can be supplied by local companies.

This website will:

1. Help local businesses to establish whether they have products and services that are used in the construction of a wind farm
2. Provide an opportunity for suppliers to register their contact details and list the products and services that they are interested in supplying
3. Enable suppliers to identify who in the supply chain is likely to be responsible for the procurement of their products and services and enable them to be contacted
4. Assist developers and major sub contractors in identifying potential suppliers of products and services that are based in the local area
5. Publish details of products and services that are needed in the construction on the website and explain the tender process to encourage local suppliers to participate
6. Provide details of funding and support that is available to encourage the development of new products and services through innovation
