This portal encourages Local and Regional companies in Sussex, Kent, Surrey or Hampshire to register their interest in becoming a part of the Supply Chain to the Rampion Project. As part of the registration process the company details are listed on a searchable database. The goods and services they provide are indexed using the Supply Chain categories/sub-categories relevant to the Rampion development and by using the ‘Search’ facility, contractors and specifiers are able to identify potential suppliers to the project.
The portal also provides procurers with a method to publicise ‘Invitations to Tender’ and other information to interested companies. This will help ensure that local suppliers are made aware of these opportunities, and maximise the range of suppliers eligible to bid for them.
