Rampion Offshore Wind Farm 'Meet the Buyer' Event, 26th February 2014, Brighton

E.ON hosted a Rampion Offshore Wind Farm 'Meet the Buyer' event at the Amex Stadium, Brighton on Wednesday 26th February 2014.

The aim of the event was to inform local businesses of potential opportunities that could arise from the construction and operation of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm project, should it receive consent later in 2014.

Speakers included E.ON, a major wind turbine supplier, Marine South East, Grant Thornton, Coast2Capital and Locate East Sussex.

Delegates were able to meet other local businesses, prospective Tier 1 contractors and project and procurement staff from E.ON's Rampion Project Team.

The event was particularly suitable for businesses located in East and West Sussex, Kent, Surrey and Hampshire who think they might be able to supply products and services to support the construction and/or operations and maintenance of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm.

The event wass especially applicable for civil engineering companies, general engineering companies and marine businesses.
