Launch of the Portsmouth University Centre for Operational Research and Logistics, 18th June 2014, Portsmouth

The University of Portsmouth is launching a Centre for Operational Research and Logistics on Wednesday 18th June 2014. A main part of the research undertaken by the centre is operational management and logistics in offshore wind and maritime industry.

This innovative cross-industry and cross-faculty venture will bring together academics and industry partners to work to provide innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Dubbed \'the science of better decision making\' this exciting conference will deliver talks from esteemed speakers regarding the challenges facing the industry followed by interactive roundtable discussions regarding the challenges and potential solutions facing the industry.
